Welcome to Space

As part of the flagship events during Israeli Space Week 2021, “Welcome to Space” was a keynote lecture delivered at Space It — the Rona Ramon Education and Space Conference. This event, organized by the Israel Space Agency and the Ramon Foundation, celebrates space education and honors the legacy of Rona Ramon through multidisciplinary engagement with space and science.

In a powerful session tailored for educators, decision-makers, and future shapers, Michal invited participants on a journey into the universe through the lens of architecture, inclusion, and imagination. Her talk emphasized the importance of integrating space thinking into education—not just through STEM, but also via art, design, social justice, and cultural expression.

Sharing the stage with astronaut-artist Nicole Stott and space law expert Keren Shachar, this event highlighted the diverse dimensions of space—from creativity to legality to design of future worlds—underscoring the message that space belongs to everyone.
